I have spent my career as a jack-of-all-trades for design and development. Beginning my role as Designer for Intuit (formerly Homestead Tech) and continuing my experience as a Lead UX Designer at InfoStretch Corporation my jobs have always required multidisciplinary proficiency in interaction and UX design as well as project management, product development, and marketing/social media initiatives. I’ve spent my time on agile, small teams that share responsibilities for quick turnaround, iterating until perfect.

Professional Experience

Lead UX Designer InfoStretch Corporation, Santa Clara, CA (2010 – Present)

  • Began as Designer and took over IA, design, and branding, eliminating need for third party agency
  • Created print collateral design in tandem with web branding
  • Overhauled entire site design and architecture multiple times as business developed and changed
  • Worked closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to build projects and reach business goals through design and UX
  • Mobile application design – Created interactive wireframes to illustrate app flow, screen layouts and navigation for client buy-in and to aid in the design process.
  • Software application design (SaaS) – Created high-fidelity wireframes
  • Coordinated the design team’s efforts with InfoStretch engineers working half-a-world away in Ahmedabad & Mumbai, India

Lead Designer QMetry (QA Mgmt Solution), Santa Clara, CA (2009 – present)

  • Oversaw engineering on a small team of designers when they brought their web development in-house
  • Created print collateral design in tandem with web branding
  • Implemented social media strategy that increased company visibility and brand awareness
  • Developed marketing campaigns – landing page implementation and A/B testing

  • Assistant to Art Director, working on the Brand Launch of Canopy
  • Quality Assured all imagery, production work (color correction,etc.)
  • Created print collateral design assets in tandem with web branding

  • Initial team created for Design services, which led to success of small business website design services program.
  • Provided UX guidance to refine the client site’s strategy and functionality, optimizing the user experiences.
  • Analyzed business reporting requirements and developed reports based upon CRM application.
  • Coordinated the design team’s efforts with Homestead’s engineers and Designers working half-a-world away in Pakistan.
